MARTA
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is a transportation system that focuses on making public transit a reliable service across Atlanta. In 1979, MARTA began its journey of providing the metropolitan Atlanta area with combined bus and rail service. Today, MARTA has moved over 3.5 billion people throughout Atlanta and the surrounding cities.
