LOS ANGELES – SensisHealth, a division of cross-cultural marketing agency Sensis, was recently contracted to redesign and re-launch the website for AltaMed Health Services Corporation – a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating disparities in health care access for Latino, multi-ethnic and underserved communities in Southern California, with a total of 47 locations.
AltaMed selected SensisHealth to design a new user experience and implement a robust technology infrastructure for Altamed.org, with the goal of transforming the website into a more patient-centric destination. With intuitive navigation, relevant content strategy and user experience, the new site will support the needs of AltaMed’s diverse patients and their families.
“Our agency’s cross-cultural focus makes SensisHealth the perfect partner for this critical project with AltaMed, given their 45-year commitment to the elimination of disparities in health care access and outcomes for underserved communities,” said Beatriz Mallory, vice president of SensisHealth. “We’re excited to create a website that truly reflects the heart and mission of AltaMed – providing superior quality health and human services through an integrated world-class delivery system for underserved communities in Greater LA. The site redesign will be an extension of these core values, and will provide an exceptional, culturally-competent user experience.”
Founded more than forty-five years ago as the East Los Angeles Barrio Free Clinic, AltaMed is now the nation’s largest Independently Federally Qualified Community Health Center, delivering more than 1,000,000 annual patient visits, and serving nearly 300,000 families, through its 47 sites throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
