Ethan is a big picture thinker. As the agency’s technology director, it is Ethan’s job to integrate Sensis’ creative and Web development teams to create award-winning sites for the agency’s clients. In the past year alone, Sensis has received awards from the Web Marketing Association, the Interactive Media Council and MIXX under Ethan’s direction. When presented with a new site, Ethan looks at the client’s entire organization, compares it to competitors in the marketplace and determines how to best position the client. Potential Speaking Abstracts
Open communication accessible to all
The Internet provides information to the masses or does it? Many Web sites are built in such ways that they alienate certain groups of the population, including non-English speakers, the blind and / or the elderly.
This session teaches how to make your site for the people — all the people. Ethan uses case studies from Sensis’ Web development work for L.A. Care Health Plan and United Healthcare to outline strategies and concepts audience members can use in their own Web development projects. Ethan also details Section 508 standards and other federal guidelines companies must be in compliance with to ensure all Americans can obtain and use the information presented online.
