A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Javier oversees all copywriting and translating (English/Spanish) at Sensis. He has over 20 years of bilingual experience in TV, radio, print, direct mail, outdoor, collateral, POS, and Web, plus branding and marketing for clients in healthcare/pharma (UnitedHealthcare, PacificCare, Wellpoint, Blue Cross, Anthem, Health Net, Talecris, Burroughs Wellcome), telecom (Verizon, Comcast, TimeWarner Cable), financial (H&R Block, CitiFinancial, IDT Financial), retail food service (McDonald's, Denny's, Safeway/Vons Supermarkets, El Pollo Loco), entertainment (Paramount, Sony, Blockbuster, Warner Home Video), utilities (Sempra Energy, San Diego Gas & Electric, SoCal Gas Company), education (U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Ameritas College) and government (U.S. Army, Dept. of Homeland Security, Citizenship and Immigration Service, Center for Medicare Services, California Lottery).

Javier has a BA in English Literature with a Certificate in American Studies from Princeton University and a MFA in Film-TV Production from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. He loves books, movies, US Olympic bobsled and skeleton, and cheese.
