LOS ANGELES (Aug. 16, 2017) – Today, Inc. magazine ranks Sensis, the cross-cultural agency driving behavior change, number 2,379 among top boundary pushing companies on its 36th annual Inc. 5000 list. This is the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
Sensis is considered part of the Inc. 5000 Honor Roll, and ranks second among advertising and marketing agencies in California that have made the list nine or more times. Only half of one percent of companies have made the list nine times, further elevating this noteworthy achievement for Sensis. While the economy grew just 6.7 percent, Sensis revenue grew over 152.17 percent since 2013. It credits its unique business model for this sustained growth. Sensis has an even split between private and public sector clients, and developed new capabilities, like in-house research and strategy and SensisCMO.
The Inc. 5000 list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment — its independent small and midsized businesses. Industry giants, like Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many others gained their first national exposure as honorees of the Inc. 5000.
Each year, it a pleasure to be among our country’s best,” says Sensis President José Villa. “We evolved to more than just an advertising or marketing agency long ago. Today, our cross-cultural behavior change model has allowed us to deliver strategic solutions for our clients that produce results.”
The 2017 Inc. 5000, unveiled online at Inc.com and with the top 500 companies featured in the September issue of Inc., is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The average company on the list achieved a mind-boggling three-year average growth of 481 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $206 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 619,500 jobs over the past three years. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database sortable by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.
The Inc. 5000 is the most persuasive evidence I know that the American Dream is still alive,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “The founders and CEOs of the Inc. 5000 tell us they think determination, risk taking, and vision were the keys to their success, and I believe them.”
